本活動以「閱讀」、「分享」作為核心理念，希望透過一封封真實的僑批，引領參與者走進近代華人跨國移民的生命世界。
我們希望突破傳統單向演講模式，打造一個兼具閱讀、對話、分享與交流的公共人文平台，讓僑批不再只是靜態保存於典藏機構的歷史文獻，而是能夠被閱讀、被理解、被分享，並持續與當代社會對話的文化文本。
我們期待，這不僅是一場閱讀僑批的工作坊，更是一場共同閱讀歷史、分享記憶、保存文化遺產的公共行動。透過每一次閱讀與每一次分享，讓沉睡於民間的僑批重新發聲，也讓更多人從一封家書中，看見跨越山海的親情、家族的故事，以及海外華人共同走過的歷史足跡。
導讀人：陳佳杰
現為國立成功大學中文系博士生。主要研究領域包括僑批研究、新馬華僑華人史、民間文學與馬華文學。著有專書《新馬潮人之民俗傳承與在地化研究：以潮汕僑批為中心》，並發表多篇關於閩潮僑批、新馬華人民俗記憶與文化傳承之學術論文。長年深耕僑批文獻資料整理，對潮汕僑批中的生命禮俗、醫藥養生及社會文化記憶有深入研究。

With "reading" and "sharing" as core, this session aims to guide participants into the lives of modern transnational Chinese immigrants through a collection of genuine Qiaopi or Overseas Chinese Remittance.
Breaking away from traditional, one-way lectures, we aim to build a public humanities platform that fosters reading, dialogue, sharing, and connection. Our goal is to transform Qiaopi from static historical documents preserved in archives into living cultural texts that can be read, understood, shared, and constantly engaged in dialogue with contemporary society.
We envision this not just as a Qiaopi reading workshop, but as a collective public action to read history, share memories, and preserve cultural heritage. Through every reading and shared moment, we breathe new life into these slumbering folk letters. We invite more people to look into a single family letter and witness a deep affection that spans mountains and seas, the stories of families, and the shared historical footprints of overseas Chinese.
