The interior of northern Sarawak, cloaked in dense rainforest, has long kept its unique character hidden from its West Malaysia neighbour.
The pristine forests in the upper reaches of the Baram River, along with all the life within them, have coexisted with the local Kelabit, Kenyah and Penan communities for generations. What kind of sparks might this way of life create today?
