This January, we are Dreaming Islands in a collaborative project by Michelle Lim and John Clang that traces the human, temporal, and imaginative flows between Penang and Singapore.
Developed through a micro-residency hosted by Blank Canvas and unfolding across George Town, the project reflects on how memory, movement, fate, and personal histories map communities not only across space, but through time.
Dreaming Islands brings together intimate encounters, collective inquiry, and site-specific gestures that foreground care, agency, and shared reflection.
