BAO Ask Others X COEX@Kilang Besi Ep.03 Making Mamak Clarissa Lim in conversation with Ali Alasri
Making Mamak is a curatorial project conducted between Clarissa Lim Kye Lee and @canadiancentreforarchitecture is a series of workshops for arts collectives in the Malay Archipelago to map their neighbourhood and spatial relations.
Published as a blueprint with design support by @constantvariable, it is a document available for all to archive, build upon, question the resilience of existing neighbourly mutual aid, the resilience of our auntie economy and adapt our existing models of community engagement.
Today we invited Ali Alasri to interrogate and play with the blueprint alongside the emerg(ed) curator Clarissa Lim to test the limits and extents of the blueprint in one of the participating collectives, COEX@Kilang Besi.
