AA (Affordable Art), curated by Joshua Foo, is an initiative for people to present their own art show to the public for two weeks, offering them a chance to own a piece for an accessible price.
Mini Perspectives presents a series of small watercolour works that capture the essence of city life. In these intimate pieces, Francis Lee transform everyday urban scene into quiet observations, inviting us to pause and look beyond the noise. Each painting is modest in scale yet expansive in vision, revealing that the grandeur of the city is not only in its skylines but also in its subtleties - a street corner, passing cars, a fleeting shadow.
What make this exhibition compelling is the artist’s ability to distill vast experience into concise composition. The ‘mini’ format becomes a lens through which viewers encounter the city anew, one canvas at a time. together, these work form a tapestry of perspectives, where smallness is not a limitation but a strength. they remind us that even the smallest frames can hold big stories, and the perspective is shaped by how we choose to see.
