AA (Affordable Art), curated by Joshua Foo, is an initiative for people to present their own art show to the public for two weeks, offering them a chance to own a piece for an accessible price.
Nyuk Shan, a food illustrator who finds inspiration in the simple act of sharing and remembering meals. What began as painting the dishes she encountered during her travels gradually became an ongoing exploration of food as memory and experience.
Working primarily in watercolour and ink, she moves between sketchbooks and finished paintings. Her sketchbooks capture quick, honest moments observed on location, while her larger works give these moments space to breathe. Through both, she invites viewers to slow down and reconnect with the quiet stories found around the table.
