Yanshui is a small town located in Tainan, Taiwan, widely known for its vibrant festivals and light art, including the famous Yanshui Beehive Firecrackers Festival, the YueJin Lantern Festival, and the YueJin Art Museum. A local art collective, deeply rooted in the community, has been continuously driving regional art projects and community engagement.
Speaker Bio : 禹禹藝術工作室 Yu Yu Art Studio 陳禹廷 Chen Yu Ting
禹禹藝術工作室成立於2005年，長期投入裝置藝術、公共藝術，以自然材質、複合媒材的創作實踐。團隊在二十年的累積中，逐步從單件作品的細緻雕琢，擴展至場域整體的思考，在指標性燈節、地景藝術與國際交流中，持續探索空間感知的多樣可能。
除藝術創作外，近年亦投入地方活化協助營運台南鹽水月之美術館，並策畫執行《漫月美行動》與《新營波光節》等展覽，整合多年積累的實務經驗，在不同場域構築深刻的美感體驗。
Founded in 2005, Yuyu Art Studio specializes in installation and public art, utilizing natural materials and mixed media in its creative practice. Over twenty years of evolution, the team has expanded its approach from meticulously crafting single artworks to shaping entire spatial environments—continually exploring new dimensions of spatial perception through iconic light festivals, landscape art, and international collaborations.
In addition to creating art, the studio has recently embraced local revitalization. It helps operate Tainan’s Yuejin Art Museum and has curated major events like the “ Yuejin Art Museum Festival “ and the “ Xinying Shimmer Festival “ Drawing on two decades of hands-on experience, Yuyu Art Studio crafts deep, immersive aesthetic experiences in a variety of settings.
